| Wang Shiqing Clears the Air Amid Fresh Gossip Linking Husband to He Sui’s Past |
Chinese model Wang Shiqing has once again had to address the buzzing rumour mill after claims resurfaced online suggesting that her husband, Ji Huanbo, was once married to fellow model He Sui.
In a post that quickly drew attention, Wang Shiqing firmly denied the gossip, writing: “Not true, rumours stop with the wise.”
The elegant yet pointed statement effectively squashed what had become a trending topic on Chinese social media overnight.
This isn’t the first time she’s had to fend off such speculation.
Back in 2021, Wang Shiqing had already clarified that Ji Huanbo “has no connection whatsoever with He Sui and they are not even acquainted.”

To rewind a bit — Wang Shiqing tied the knot with actor Ji Huanbo on 15 November 2021, and the couple later appeared on the third season of the variety show See You Again (再见爱人), which premiered on 5 September 2023.
Their easygoing chemistry on the show quickly earned them fans, and they’ve been seen as one of the more down-to-earth celebrity couples in the industry.
However, this fresh round of gossip appears to trace back to He Sui’s own private life.
In 2015, He Sui surprised everyone when she posted a snap of her marriage certificate on social media.
Though she never revealed her husband’s identity, internet sleuths were quick to claim that it was Ji Huanbo — at the time described as a “low-profile businessman.”
That marriage, however, was short-lived — lasting reportedly just seven months before He Sui announced she was single again.
According to earlier entertainment gossip, Ji Huanbo had allegedly been introduced to He Sui by fellow Victoria’s Secret model Xi Mengyao.

Their whirlwind romance apparently fizzled once He Sui realised that her husband wasn’t quite the high-flying tycoon he’d been made out to be.
One tabloid even cheekily dubbed their story “quick to marry, quick to part.”
Fast forward to today, and the old stories have resurfaced online — especially as He Sui and actor William Chan recently made headlines for welcoming their first child together.
Amongst the chatter, netizens reignited old claims like “He Sui’s ex-husband joins See You Again 3” and “He Sui’s marriage collapsed after being tricked by a fake billionaire.”
Still, Wang Shiqing’s calm and poised reaction has earned praise.
Rather than fuelling the drama, she’s chosen to address it gracefully — making it clear she’s not here for baseless gossip.
With a simple phrase — “Rumours stop with the wise” — the supermodel has effectively drawn a line under the whole matter.
Fans across social media have applauded her for keeping her cool and focusing on her work rather than getting dragged into the noise.
