Carizzma (Carisima) did not waste a single second pretending to be subtle. Netflix’s 2026 Argentinian comedy series arrived with diva meltdowns, existential panic, suspicious romance choices and enough chaotic energy to make viewers feel exhausted in the best possible way. But beyond all the absurd humour and emotional disasters wrapped in designer outfits, audiences quickly became obsessed with one thing: the filming locations. Because honestly, every street, café, theatre and skyline shot in this series looked like somebody accidentally turned Buenos Aires into the main character.

As interest around the show exploded online, fans started tracking down where exactly Carizzma was filmed. Like many major productions, several exact locations were deliberately kept quiet while filming was ongoing to stop crowds interrupting scenes or turning up hoping to spot cast members mid-shoot. Still, enough locations have surfaced to confirm that the production fully embraced Argentina’s dramatic architecture, glamorous nightlife and beautifully chaotic city atmosphere.

The heart of the series was clearly filmed across Buenos Aires, the capital city that practically carried half the show on its shoulders. The city’s mix of European-style buildings, colourful streets, modern luxury spaces and loud urban personality perfectly matched Caro Pardíaco’s equally unpredictable life.

Throughout the series, viewers constantly spotted famous landmarks hidden between emotional breakdowns, fashion moments and wildly uncomfortable romantic encounters.

One of the most recognisable filming spots was the legendary Obelisco de Buenos Aires. The towering monument appeared in multiple establishing shots whenever the series wanted to remind viewers that Caro’s life was spiralling in the middle of a city that genuinely never slows down.

The area surrounding the Obelisk became especially memorable during scenes involving paparazzi chaos, influencer drama and Caro storming across intersections looking both glamorous and deeply annoyed at humanity.

Another standout location was the iconic Teatro Colón, one of the world’s most famous opera houses. The production used the building’s luxurious exterior and surrounding district for several elegant event scenes tied to Caro’s celebrity lifestyle.

Fans online joked that the theatre somehow managed to outdress half the cast without even trying. The location added old-world sophistication to a series otherwise fuelled by emotional confusion and absolute nonsense decisions.

The production also filmed around the Palace of the Argentine National Congress, whose grand architecture gave several scenes an almost cinematic political-drama look despite the show being about a woman having a personal crisis before turning 30.

The massive domed building appeared during transitional scenes and city montages, helping establish the scale and intensity of Buenos Aires itself.

Then there was La Boca, easily one of the most visually striking areas featured in the series. With its colourful buildings, tango culture and chaotic artistic energy, the district fit perfectly into the world of Carizzma

Several outdoor sequences involving Caro’s public appearances and awkward interactions with fans were filmed there. Viewers especially loved how the show contrasted the vibrant neighbourhood with Caro internally questioning every decision she had ever made. Existential dread apparently looks better with colourful walls in the background.

The elegant Torre Monumental also made multiple appearances throughout the season. The historic tower added another layer of classic Buenos Aires imagery to the series, particularly during scenes involving Leo’s more mysterious side. Fans quickly began theorising online that every dramatic shot near the tower automatically meant emotional damage was approaching. Looking back, they were not entirely wrong.

One location that quietly became a fan favourite was Puerto Madero, the city’s sleek waterfront district. The area’s modern skyscrapers, upscale restaurants and polished atmosphere perfectly represented Caro’s influencer lifestyle.

Several rooftop party scenes and luxury dinner sequences were filmed there, making viewers collectively wonder how every character in the show somehow had access to impossibly expensive apartments despite constantly making terrible life choices.

The production also spent time filming in San Telmo, known for its historic streets, antique shops and old cafés. The neighbourhood gave the series a more intimate atmosphere during quieter moments between Caro and Leo. Naturally, those softer scenes usually lasted about three minutes before somebody started emotionally panicking again.

Another important filming area was Recoleta, particularly around its stylish cafés and boutique-lined streets. The district’s polished aesthetic matched Caro’s carefully curated public image perfectly. Several fans online even began recreating her outfits while visiting the same locations, although thankfully without the emotional collapse attached to them.

The series also filmed around Palermo Soho, one of Buenos Aires’ trendiest neighbourhoods. With its nightlife, street art and fashionable energy, the area became the backdrop for some of the show’s funniest party scenes and influencer gatherings. Viewers joked that half the extras looked like they were actual influencers accidentally wandering into production and deciding to stay.

For indoor sequences, the production reportedly used several luxury hotels and private event venues across the city, particularly in districts associated with Buenos Aires’ fashion and entertainment scenes.

These glamorous interiors helped build the exaggerated celebrity world surrounding Caro, who somehow managed to look overdressed and emotionally unstable at the exact same time in nearly every episode.

Online reactions to the filming locations have been almost as dramatic as the series itself. International viewers praised the production for showcasing Argentina in a stylish but authentic way, while local audiences enjoyed spotting familiar streets and landmarks hidden throughout episodes.

Some fans even admitted they paused scenes just to identify cafés, roads and buildings instead of paying attention to the actual plot. Priorities clearly shifted the second Buenos Aires started looking this good on screen.

Travel discussions around Carizzma have also exploded across social media, with many viewers already adding Buenos Aires to their future travel plans purely because of the series.

Others joked that Netflix accidentally produced “a tourism campaign disguised as emotional chaos”. Considering how often the show captured the city glowing at sunset while somebody argued about love, identity or emotional trauma, they may have a point.

What made the locations work so well was how naturally they reflected Caro herself. Buenos Aires felt glamorous, loud, unpredictable, stylish and slightly exhausted all at once — which, honestly, is also the perfect summary of the protagonist. Instead of simply using the city as background decoration, Carizzma made Argentina feel alive inside the story.

And that may be why audiences connected with it so quickly. The series did not just show viewers famous tourist landmarks. It captured the strange, messy charm of Buenos Aires itself — elegant one second, chaotic the next, and somehow still impossible to look away from.

So if you suddenly find yourself wanting to wander through La Boca, sit dramatically in a Palermo café or recreate Caro’s rooftop party scenes while questioning your own life choices, you are definitely not the only one. Which filming location would make it straight onto your travel bucket list first?
