Chinese actor Han Chengyu has quietly pulled off what many celebrities fail to manage for five minutes: keeping a marriage and child entirely private. The 34-year-old actor shocked followers this week after announcing he is already married to actress Tian Miaomiao and that the couple share a daughter. This level of secrecy was almost Olympic standard.
Posting on social media, Han Chengyu wrote: “Yes, I’m married and have a child. This announcement may be late, but it is a lifelong certainty.”
The message instantly sent fans into detective mode, with many realising the actor had been living a full family life while audiences were busy discussing his latest screen roles.

Han said he stepped back from work to stay beside his wife during the pregnancy.
Because of medical concerns linked to age and complications, Tian reportedly remained in hospital on bedrest for three and a half months. It was a gruelling chapter for the couple, one far removed from red carpets and polished press photos.
Their daughter was then born prematurely at just over 28 weeks, weighing around 1,180 grams. Han described the child spending 49 days in intensive care before recovering.
Today, he says she is healthy and developing well. It is believed the child was born sometime between 2023 and 2024, meaning she is now around two or three years old.
