All’s Fair Season 2: Who Plays Raul Ortiz? Meet Brazilian Actor Cauã Reymond.

All’s Fair has a new face looking after Allura Grant, and he might end up being more than just another member of her security team. Raul Ortiz, a highly trained bodyguard brought in after a frightening incident puts Allura’s safety at risk, makes his debut in Season 2. Played by Brazilian actor Cauã Reymond, the new arrival quickly catches everyone's attention with his professional attitude, confidence and rather convenient 24-hour access to Allura. While his main responsibility is keeping the lawyer safe, there could be another complication waiting for them: romance.

The second season of the legal drama opens with Allura Grant organising an extravagant Scorpio Ball, an event she expects to be the highlight of the social calendar. However, the evening quickly turns into a rather embarrassing affair when tensions between her friends Liberty, Emerald and Milan escalate into a confrontation with Carr. Apparently, a glamorous party is never quite complete without a little drama.

Unfortunately, the arguments are not Allura's biggest problem that evening. While speaking with her friends in the restroom, she gets stung by an actual scorpion that someone appears to have hidden inside her purse. What should have been an enjoyable celebration suddenly becomes a serious security concern, leaving the attorney with more questions than answers.

The incident also confirms that someone may be deliberately targeting Allura. Earlier in the season, she had already noticed suspicious shadows outside her home and developed the uncomfortable feeling that somebody was watching her movements. Initially, she tries to dismiss these experiences, but the scorpion incident makes that increasingly difficult. Whoever is behind the unsettling behaviour seems determined to get close enough to frighten her, despite the security arrangements already in place.

With her personal safety becoming a priority, Allura decides that it is time to bring in someone who knows exactly what they are doing. That is where Raul Ortiz enters the picture.

Allura wants the best protection available, so she interviews Raul for the position of her live-in bodyguard. He immediately makes a strong impression, presenting himself as a serious, disciplined professional who understands the responsibilities involved. He is not particularly interested in unnecessary conversation or making a show of himself. His priority is doing the job properly.

Raul also manages to win over Dina surprisingly quickly, which is practically an unofficial confirmation that he is the right person for the position. Once he receives the opportunity, he prepares to take responsibility for Allura's security, both at her home and throughout her professional life.

However, protecting Allura might turn out to be the easier part of the arrangement.

Before meeting Raul, Allura's friends had already teased her about the possibility of developing feelings for her future bodyguard. It is hardly an unfamiliar romantic setup: an attractive security professional spending nearly every waking hour around a wealthy, independent woman who is accustomed to managing everything herself.

Allura initially brushes off the suggestion, insisting that she has no intention of complicating her already demanding life with an office-style romance involving her own security personnel. Sensible enough, although television characters rarely manage to avoid precisely the situations they insist will never happen.

Once Raul actually enters her life, however, the situation becomes considerably more interesting. His responsibilities mean spending plenty of time around Allura, whether at her workplace or inside her home. The constant proximity creates opportunities for the two to become more familiar with each other, potentially turning a straightforward professional relationship into something considerably more personal.

Raul's introduction also brings a significant casting addition to All’s Fair, with Brazilian actor Cauã Reymond joining the series as a new regular in Season 2. The role marks an important step in his career, introducing him to a wider American television audience after years of established work in Brazilian entertainment.

Reymond has been active in the industry since 2003, when he made an early television appearance in the Brazilian series Young Hearts. Since then, he has built an impressive acting career across television and film, becoming a recognisable leading man in his home country.

Some of his best-known television credits include The Favorite, Passione and Brazil Avenue. His film work also includes Se Nada Mais Der Certo, Mercy and A Viagem de Pedro. His experience across different genres has given him plenty of opportunities to develop his screen presence, making his arrival in an American production an interesting next chapter.

Joining an English-language series naturally presents a different set of challenges, particularly for an actor whose previous work has largely been in Brazilian productions. In an interview with Deadline, Reymond discussed the adjustment and explained how working in English required him to approach his performance differently.

He described the experience as a fresh challenge, particularly when it came to understanding the rhythm of the language, breaking scenes into individual words and finding the right way to express his character. He also admitted that pronunciation could initially make him nervous, especially when wondering whether he was saying everything correctly.

However, the actor explained that his confidence improved as filming progressed. He also mentioned his longstanding interest in American music, which gave him an appreciation for the language's distinctive musicality. Rather than treating the transition as an obstacle, Reymond embraced the opportunity to learn something new and explore a different approach to acting.

Raul Ortiz could be one of the more interesting additions to All’s Fair Season 2, particularly because his arrival introduces a different dynamic into Allura's already complicated life. The character is not simply another professional entering the firm's orbit; he is someone whose job requires him to remain close to the protagonist while maintaining clear boundaries.

Raul’s arrival gives All’s Fair a new angle, not simply because the show has found an attractive face to place in a well-tailored suit. Allura’s security problem raises the stakes beyond office rivalries and social gatherings, while a live-in bodyguard creates a source of tension. The arrangement also gives the series room to explore how someone so used to being in control reacts when she has to let another person take charge.

That said, the romance angle is hardly a groundbreaking twist. The bodyguard-and-client setup has been used before, so the writing will need more than lingering looks and awkward close encounters to make it feel fresh on screen. Reymond’s move into American television is the genuinely interesting development, particularly for viewers discovering his work for the first time. If the chemistry lands, Raul could become a welcome addition rather than another handsome security detail.

Ultimately, Raul's biggest challenge may involve more than identifying whoever is putting Allura in danger. His growing presence could also test her ability to separate professional responsibilities from personal feelings.

Whether the series develops their relationship into a full romance or keeps things focused on the mystery surrounding Allura, there is plenty of potential here. What do you think about Cauã Reymond joining All’s Fair as Raul Ortiz? Is he the right choice for Allura's new bodyguard, and could the two become the show's next unexpected romantic pairing?
