Meanwhile, the hunt for Rebecca, the mysterious figure targeting powerful billionaires linked to exploitation crimes, is intensifying.
Rebecca and her partner Donnie are forced to abandon their hideout when federal agents close in. By the time the authorities arrive, the place is empty.
What they do find is unsettling — a black bag containing severed fingers belonging to Jelani, alongside a photograph of the billionaires Rebecca is hunting and a note reading “For Nuri”.
It confirms that Rebecca’s revenge campaign is far from finished.
Police soon discover that four wealthy figures remain on Rebecca’s hit list: Nuri, Griffith, Nat, and Lance Durand, the powerful CEO of Crestbrook Industries. To protect them, authorities move the group to Camp Harrison Army Base, believing the military facility will keep Rebecca at bay.
But the tension inside the safehouse quickly reveals deeper cracks.
The four targets argue over their past involvement in the scandal surrounding Gabriela and their questionable business practices. Each of them has received a message demanding 20 million dollars in exchange for survival.
When Alex Cross and Kayla question them, Nuri nearly confesses, but Lance shuts the conversation down, insisting they stay silent.
At exactly 4pm, Rebecca makes her move.
Lance receives the call, and Rebecca’s psychological pressure begins. The group panics. Nuri considers paying the ransom, but the others refuse.

He claims his brother Alan holds another copy of the recording.
The revelation pushes Lance over the edge.
Instead of negotiating, Lance violently attacks Griffith, killing him to eliminate the evidence. His decision completely alters the trajectory of the case.
Meanwhile, another emotional storyline unfolds for John Sampson. After learning his birth mother LaDonna Duvernay is still alive, John confronts his grandmother Regina “Nana Mama” Cross about keeping the truth from him. Regina insists she was protecting him from heartbreak, explaining that LaDonna had only reappeared in the past when she needed money.
John struggles with the revelation but eventually seeks out his mother directly. LaDonna admits regret for her past choices but refuses to testify against Tyson Knight, choosing instead to take responsibility herself.
It is a painful but realistic resolution to a complicated family history.
Back in the main investigation, Cross realises something critical after examining Griffith’s body: Rebecca did not kill him. The injuries do not match her previous methods. Someone else is manipulating the situation.
The trail leads to Alan, who may hold the recording.
However, Donnie arrives first, desperate to secure the evidence before anyone else can reach it. Cross, John, and Kayla catch up just as he escapes with the recording, triggering a tense chase.
Donnie manages to flee, but he is seriously wounded.
When he finally reaches Clare Matthews, Rebecca’s aunt, he believes he has completed his mission. Instead, Clare kills him without hesitation and drives away with the recording.
The finale’s final moments add another twist.
Bobby Trey tracks down Margaret, holding her at gunpoint — suggesting the true mastermind may finally be within reach.
