| Zhao Lusi to Hold Solo Concert in Chengdu This November |
China’s sweetheart Rosy Zhao Lusi is stepping into a whole new spotlight! On the evening of 3 November 2025, Damai officially dropped the exciting announcement that Zhao Lusi will hold her solo concert titled “Longing As If Seeing You” (思念如面 / Si Nian Ru Mian) this 8 November at 7:00 PM, live at the Chengdu Gaoxin Sports Center Multifunctional Gymnasium.
The actress’s team also confirmed the news on social media—sending fans into a total frenzy.
Free Tickets via Quiz System
Unlike typical concerts, this one’s got a twist.
Starting 4 November at 8:00 PM, fans can secure their spots for free through Damai’s quiz-based reservation system—yes, free entry if you ace a short quiz.
For those travelling from outside Chengdu, the platform also offers handy accommodation and transport bundles, ranging between 370–392 yuan (around $85–$90 USD).
From Screen Queen to Music Stage
This concert marks Zhao Lusi’s full dive into the music scene.
Just a month earlier, she made waves after revealing during a livestream that Grammy-winning producer Brian Lee (the genius behind Lady Gaga’s “Stupid Love” and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”) flew all the way to China to work with her.
And she didn’t waste time—dropping two singles soon after: Black Veil Bride and Don’t Wanna Know.
Her debut single Black Veil Bride smashed records, gaining over 10,000 bookmarks in 10 minutes, and later surpassing 2 million on Qishui Music.
Meanwhile, Don’t Wanna Know quickly climbed multiple digital charts, proving she’s no passing trend.
Critics, Receipts, and a Powerful Comeback
Of course, no major debut comes without a few side-eyes. Some netizens accused Zhao Lusi of overusing autotune, even digging up old drama clips to compare her vocals.
But Zhao Lusi didn’t clap back with words—she showed proof.
Brian Lee’s team later shared behind-the-scenes footage of her 12-hour recording grind in Chengdu, where she worked tirelessly to perfect a single high note.
During her livestream for Don’t Wanna Know, Lusi confidently sang the chorus live—with pitch and tone that were practically identical to the studio version.
A Return to the Spotlight
This concert also marks Zhao Lusi’s emotional return to public performance after a challenging year.
Back in August, she deactivated her Weibo following unresolved disputes with her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment.
Health-wise, fans had been worried too—last November she was hospitalised mid-filming due to sudden illness, and later opened up about her battle with depression and weight loss in a January interview with Fengmian News.
“I’ve always brushed off my feelings for the sake of work,” she admitted softly. “For big issues, I avoid confrontation. For small ones, I just say it’s fine.”
Now, with “Longing As If Seeing You”, Zhao Lusi is ready to let her voice—and story—speak for themselves.
