| 48G Sub-Unit Quadlips Teams Up With DJ Thomas Gold for 2026 Comeback Song |
The international sub-unit of the 48 Group, QUADLIPS, has officially confirmed their long-awaited comeback, scheduled for spring 2026.
The group, which has been quiet for a while, will return with a fresh line-up and a whole new musical direction that’s got both fans and the industry buzzing.
According to insiders, the group’s upcoming single will mark a bold shift in sound — this time teaming up with renowned DJ and music producer Thomas Gold.
Known for his dynamic electronic style, Thomas Gold’s involvement hints that Quadlips’ new track could lean into an exciting blend of idol pop and EDM energy.
What’s more, the single will also feature creative input from AI music platform “DAIM”, making this the second time in 48 Group history that artificial intelligence has been integrated into the music-making process.
The first time happened when AKB48 released their AI-generated song chosen through fan voting, and now Quadlips looks set to push that innovation even further.
Fans won’t have to wait long to get a taste — the new single will premiere at the Amsterdam Dance Event on 24 October 2025, before its official release next year.
The performance will also serve as the group’s first live appearance with their revamped line-up, marking a new chapter for Quadlips as they mix futuristic production with their signature idol charm.
If this teaser is anything to go by, 2026 might just be the year Quadlips redefines what an idol comeback can sound like.
