| MBK Center Turns Electric as BNK48’s 6th Generation Steps into the Spotlight |
The Bangkok idol scene just got a breath of fresh air — BNK48 officially debuted their sixth generation with the Thai version of “Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki da” at MBK Center, and the crowd went absolutely wild.
Eight years in, BNK48 keeps proving they’ve still got it.
The debut marked the group’s next big chapter with 11 brand new members: Mirin, Mint, Grape, Khowjow, Luksorn, Blythe, Praew, Cartoon, Inkcha, Mail, and Rose.
These girls, who were once just trainees, are now stepping into the limelight — and they did it with confidence, charm, and that unmistakable BNK sparkle.
Their debut stage featured the Thai version of “Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki da”, also known locally as “Ja Yang Ngai Gor Rak Ter” (“I’ll Still Love You”).
The song carries a message about facing fears and expressing one’s feelings even when the world drowns you out — literally referencing the sound of a passing train in the lyrics.
The MBK Center crowd was buzzing with energy. Fans cheered, waved banners, and welcomed the new girls with open arms.
Social media lit up right after the show, with comments praising the rookies’ bright stage presence and strong vocals.
Many also noted how Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki da, once famously centred by Honda Hitomi from AKB48 (and ex-IZ*ONE), was the perfect pick to represent this fresh start — bridging Thai and Japanese idol culture once again.
The music video has already dropped on YouTube, officially marking BNK48 Gen 6’s grand entry into the entertainment world.
The visuals showcase youthful energy, friendship, and that emotional sincerity that makes 48G debuts so special.

A Little Throwback and Symbolic Choice
Originally, “Doushitemo Kimi ga Suki da” was AKB48’s 61st single, released physically on 26 April 2023, with Honda Hitomi as centre.
For BNK48 to adopt it as their Gen 6 debut song is more than nostalgia — it’s a tribute to their sister group’s legacy and a signal that the next wave of idols is ready to carry the torch.
This new generation, first revealed back on 31 May 2025, is set to take on a mix of variety shows, theatre stages, and fan events over the next months.
Fans are already predicting which members might become the next breakout stars.
MBK Center x BNK48 ‘Haunted School’ for Halloween
And as if the debut hype wasn’t enough, MBK Center is teaming up with iAM and BNK48 for an exclusive Halloween project called “MBK Center Haunted School”.
Running from 27 October to 2 November 2025, the event transforms the mall’s G Floor Meeting Point into a spooky-cute haunted school, complete with themed performances, eerie decorations, and interactive activities for fans.
BNK48 members like Kaofrang, Proud, and Saonoi showed up at the launch event, setting the mood for what’s shaping up to be one of Bangkok’s most fun Halloween collabs this year.
MBK and iAM both said they’re thrilled to offer something special for both fans and visitors — a perfect blend of idol fun and seasonal spookiness.
With a dazzling debut, a meaningful song choice, and a spooky-fun collab on the way, BNK48’s 6th Gen is stepping confidently into the spotlight. The girls have already captured fans’ hearts, and if this debut is any sign, the next chapter of BNK48 is going to be a bright — and slightly haunted — one.
