AKB48 Team TP are levelling up yet again — this time with their 10th single arriving in a full double A-side format for the first time in the group’s history. Titled “Oh My Pumpkin!” and “Will You Wait for Me?” (你會等我嗎?), the single marks another big milestone for the Taipei-based sister group as they become the first overseas 48G team to release three original songs back-to-back.
Following the momentum from “24/7 Shining” and “Team UP,” Team TP are clearly not slowing down — and this one’s extra special for fans who’ve been craving both nostalgia and fresh flavour.

The first track, “Oh My Pumpkin!”, is a bright and bouncy Mandarin-language adaptation of AKB48 Japan’s 66th single — originally dropped as part of their 20th anniversary festivities. Team TP’s version keeps the quirky spirit alive, while introducing local flair with a lineup blending veteran favourites and fresh faces.
Taking centre position is none other than Lin Yu-Hsin, who brings her signature charm and stage presence to the forefront, proving once again why she’s one of TP’s most reliable centres.
“Will You Wait for Me?” – A Sweet and Sentimental Original With Tsai Ya-En as Centre
Meanwhile, the second A-side — the fully original “你會等我嗎?” (Will You Wait for Me?) — tugs at the heartstrings. It’s a gentle, emotional pop ballad that showcases Team TP’s more vulnerable and sincere side, reflecting themes of waiting, longing, and youthful hope.

The track features a carefully selected 11-member senbatsu, made up of a mix of official members and trainees. Two fresh additions, Chen Yi-Ling and Chen Zhao-Ni, make their first-ever senbatsu appearance — a big moment for both rookies.
Leading this formation is rising ace Tsai Ya-En, stepping confidently into the spotlight as centre. Her soft-yet-steady vocals and subtle emotional delivery make her a perfect match for this kind of heartfelt melody.

This 10th single isn’t just another release — it’s a record-setting moment.
