Snow Man Haunt the Charts with “SERIOUS” – Ghostly Lyrics, Creepy MV, and Shota’s Film Debut! |
Snow Man are back and they’re not playing around – well, maybe a little – with their new single “SERIOUS,” out 23 July, and it’s pure haunted house chaos. Paired with a music video full of creepy creatures, flickering lights, and horror flick aesthetics, this R&B dance track is dripping with eerie vibes and spooky flair.
The song’s not just for scares though – “SERIOUS” also doubles as the theme song for “Jiko Bukken Zoku Kowai Madori,” the upcoming horror film dropping on 25 July, starring none other than Shota Watanabe in his first ever solo lead role. Not bad, eh?
Shota’s clearly buzzing, saying, “I’m very happy that my personal work has led to a new song for the group.” He added that the lyrics are “from the perspective of a ghost” – so yeah, expect some ghostly possession energy. The track’s all about being captivated by someone until they’re fully under your spell… ghost-style. Bit chilling, bit cheeky.
The music video? Straight out of a fever dream. The lads are thrown into a house of horrors, dodging goblins, ghosts and shadowy figures.
Add in that haunting choreography and whispery vocals, and you’ve got yourself a visual thriller that matches the film’s unsettling energy.
