The 19-year-old idol from Chiba quickly became a trending topic as screenshots and highlights from the account began making rounds on social media.

The account in question seems to be a “second account” or nibaka as fans casually call it – the kind many people (idol or not) use for more personal updates away from the public eye.

NMB48 Management’s Official Statement (Translated):

It has come to our attention that a member was using an unofficial social media account, and content from that account was posted externally. We deeply apologise for the concern and inconvenience this has caused.

We take this matter very seriously and will be responding appropriately. Moving forward, we will strengthen our management systems and reinforce guidance around social media usage to prevent similar incidents.”
