Japanese Rapper NENE Fires Shots at Chanmina & SKY-HI in Savage Diss Track “OWARI” |
Right from the jump, NENE’s gunning for throats, calling out certain artists for their so-called “fake” rap credentials:
“I listened to your new song
Oi, there’s no credits?
What, a rapper?
But you didn’t even write the lyrics?”
Yikes. That sting was aimed squarely at Chanmina — though she didn’t spell it out straight away, the later verses make it crystal clear.
NENE basically accuses Chanmina of nicking other people’s ideas, labelling her a “hyena out of ideas”, and then mocking:
“Call me Chanmina
If you pay me, I’ll give you an idea.”
As if that weren’t enough, NENE goes in on Chanmina’s new girl group HANA, calling them plastic pop rather than proper hip hop, even throwing shade about liposuction and the fact club DJs apparently won’t spin their tracks. Ruthless.

Next on the chopping block is Chanmina’s new business partner SKY-HI, who co-runs the BMSG label behind acts like BE:FIRST and HANA. NENE takes aim with:
“Don’t lower your level, I’m so high SKY-HI
Get ready to open your parachute
I’ll expose this darkness.”
It’s a proper rinse, finished off by NENE cheekily flipping BMSG into an insult:
“Bi-ches
Market
Stealing
Group.”
Oof. Shots fired.
Fans reckon NENE’s fed up with big-label posturing and artists faking their street cred, and this track is her way of pulling the mask off. The music video doesn’t hold back either, even featuring a lookalike of Chanmina getting clowned on, just to drive the point home.
“OWARI” is produced by Koshy, the same talent behind NENE’s album 激アツ, and is already blowing up across social media for its raw aggression and name-dropping bars. Whether Chanmina or SKY-HI clap back remains to be seen — but one thing’s for sure, NENE’s put the entire J-rap world on notice.
