Not so fast, says Crystal Fung. Speaking to media afterwards, she laughed off the speculation.
“He didn’t even want to go on stage!” she said. “So I told him, ‘It was my birthday recently – just treat this as a present and come with me!’”
The pair clearly made a strong team, winning several rounds. Crystal Fung thanked him for the support, calling Leonard “a very steady teammate” and saying they’ve always stayed on friendly terms.
Leonard chimed in with a grin, adding that even though their team didn’t come out on top overall, their teamwork “was hands-down the best out of all six teams.”
“People are overthinking it,” he shrugged, brushing aside any suggestion of romance.

“I just wanted to capture myself looking my best,” she explained, adding that as an artiste, taking care of her body is part of the job.
But the birthday post wasn’t just about the glam – it came with a reflective message too, one line in particular standing out: “I no longer live for others.” When asked about it, Crystal clarified that it wasn’t aimed at anyone in particular.
“I just want to put myself first from now on,” she said. “It’s about giving myself space to grow, especially in terms of my educational career.”
Though she’s branching out, she firmly reassured fans that she’s not stepping away from showbiz any time soon.
“Being an artiste will always be part of who I am.”
She also mentioned that she and long-time bestie Louisa Mak (麥明詩) are planning a catch-up soon – and they’re even coordinating a proper gathering with more mutual friends. Sounds like she’s got her inner circle sorted.

Crystal Fung and Leonard Cheng may have looked flirty onstage, but they’re staying firm – it’s just friendly vibes. Meanwhile, Crystal’s celebrating 31 with abs, ambition, and a fresh new mindset. Romance? Not on her radar. She’s all about herself right now – and loving it.
