Mayji BNK48 Benched from Stage Shows After Internal Breach, Fans Rally Behind Her with Messages of Support

BNK48’s trainee member Supitsara “Mayji” Jirivipakorn is hitting pause on her social media for a whole month, after the management handed her a suspension from 1 to 31 July 2025. 

The group’s official announcement confirmed Mayji had broken internal rules, leading to a temporary halt on her online activities as well as a short break from stage performances.

According to BNK48’s statement, Mayji will be absent from the trainee theatre show “Shinjitsu wa Yume no Naka ni…” scheduled for 5–6 July. 

However, fans can still catch her in person at the handshake event for BNK48’s 19th single “Colorcon Wink” on 12–13 July as planned, so she won’t be totally off the radar.

Mayji, who made her BNK48 debut in September 2024 as part of the 5th generation with the song “Mirai to wa?” on the Borderless single, has acknowledged and accepted the disciplinary action.

The management expressed hopes that fans will understand the situation, emphasising the need to uphold group regulations.

Announcement from the Management Committee

We hereby announce the suspension of Mayji (Supitsara Jirivipakorn) from all activities and the use of social media for a period of one month, from 1st July 2025 to 31st July 2025.

As Mayji has breached the internal regulations of the company, the committee has resolved to temporarily suspend her work, activities, and all social media usage on behalf of the group. The member has acknowledged and accepted this disciplinary measure.

Mayji will not participate in the BNK48 Trainee Stage performance “Shinjitsu wa Yume no Naka ni…” on 5th–6th July 2025, which will proceed with the remaining members.

However, Mayji will still attend the BNK48 19th Single “Colorcon Wink” Handshake Event on 12th–13th July 2025 as scheduled.

Mayji BNK48 Suspended for a Month After Rule Breach, Socials on Ice

In typical BNK48 fashion, fans have rallied with a wave of encouragement on social media, using hashtags like #MayjiBNK48 to cheer her on through the setback. One fan wrote,

“Hang in there, yunatao! A slip-up doesn’t define you as an idol forever — we know how much effort you put into performing, and that’s what really matters. See you at the handshake event!”

Another supporter chimed in with,

“Mistakes happen, it’s part of growing. Just be more careful from now on. Don’t worry too much, stay grounded and bounce back. For now, we’ll keep collecting your photos and videos — there’s still loads of events to come!”
