LOVE 9 LOVE Announce Hiatus and System Restructure

LOVE 9 LOVE Reveal Plans to End Current Formation Later This Month

J-pop girl group LOVE 9 LOVE (also known as LOVE CLUB) have announced that they’ll be wrapping up activities with their current line-up at the end of this month, with their final performance scheduled for 29 May 2025

After that, the group will be taking a break until a new system is ready to roll.

In an official statement released on earlier this week, management thanked fans for their continued support and explained that the decision came after careful discussions with the members.

“We’ve respected the wishes of each member and after much consideration, we’ve decided to bring the current chapter to a close in order to move towards new goals,” the statement reads.

While they’re keeping tight-lipped about the individual futures of the members, they’ve asked fans to hold off on questions about who's staying or leaving.

[Important Announcement]

Thank you as always for your continued support of LOVE 9 LOVE.

We would like to inform you that LOVE 9 LOVE will be ending activities under the current system as of the end of May 2025.

To all our fans and everyone involved who has supported us, we sincerely apologise for the sudden nature of this announcement.

After carefully discussing and respecting the wishes of each member, we have decided to conclude the current line-up in order to move towards new goals.

We kindly ask that you refrain from inquiring about the individual futures of the members.

A final live performance with the current formation is scheduled for Thursday, 29 May. We will share further details once they are confirmed.

If you have cheki or special event tickets, we ask that you use them as soon as possible.

After the final show, the group will temporarily pause activities. We plan to resume once a new structure is in place.

Until then, each member will continue to give their best, and we ask for your continued warm support for LOVE 9 LOVE.

LOVE 9 LOVE first stepped into the spotlight on 28 February 2023, with their debut stage performance following shortly after on 26 March at Toyosu PIT.

The group has gone through several changes since then – only two founding members, Yuzunoki Marino (Pastel Yellow) and Ouka Natsu (Pastel Blue), are still active.

The current five-member line-up includes newer additions Shimotsuki Hotate, Hinata Ayana, and Abiru Suzu, who joined over the past year.

The journey hasn’t been without its bumps – with former members Otoha Noa, Kumogi Sora, Hashimoto Ui, and Yutori Erina departing for various reasons, the group’s line-up has seen its fair share of change.

Now, it seems the entire system is getting a reboot.

Fans who’ve collected cheki or event tickets are being encouraged to use them before the end of this era.

And while this may feel like the end, the message is clear: LOVE 9 LOVE isn’t disappearing, just hitting pause.

They’ll be back once things are restructured, with a fresh vision and potentially new faces.

Until then, it’s one last chance to see this pastel-coloured dream team take the stage together.

Expect emotions to be high on 29 May – it’s going to be a farewell to remember.
