Kuala Lumpur’s concert scene continues to thrive in 2025, with a diverse lineup of both local and international performers taking the stage. While K-pop acts have dominated much of the Korean music offerings in the region this year, fans of the indie scene have something special to look forward to: beloved South Korean indie band ADOY will be making their long-awaited Malaysian debut with a one-night-only concert in Kuala Lumpur this May.
The band is set to perform on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Bentley Music Auditorium. Presented by Soundscape Records, the event marks ADOY’s first-ever performance in Malaysia—a milestone for the group and their Southeast Asian fanbase.
Formed in 2017, ADOY first gained attention with their debut EP Catnip, which quickly climbed the Korean indie charts and earned nominations at the Korean Music Awards. Since then, the band has solidified their place in the indie scene, moving from small club gigs to headlining major rock festivals across South Korea. Their reach has only expanded since, with successful tours throughout Asia and North America, and upcoming shows planned in Europe and Australia.

Drawing from a mix of genres such as city pop, 80s romantic pop, indie rock, and dream pop, they have crafted a distinctive synth-driven sound that captures fleeting, heartfelt moments—summer nights, ocean breezes, conversations with close friends, and the gentle glow of youth.
