Looks like wedding bells were about to ring for actress Shuri (34) and BE:FIRST’s Miyama Ryoki (26)—until a scandal came crashing through the door.
According to reports from Josei Seven and Shukan Bunshun, the two were planning to make their marriage official with a big announcement in early May.
But then Bunshun dropped a bombshell: Ryoki was allegedly involved in a marriage fraud situation with a woman known as R-chan, real name Akari Ohno, a 28-year-old fashion brand CEO and YouTuber.
Yikes.
Apparently, Ryoki and R-chan were engaged after a year of dating, but he kept putting off actually registering the marriage, telling her parents he “wasn’t ready yet” as an actor or artist.
That alone might not have raised too many red flags—but then came the cheating, the sudden breakup, and Ryoki disappearing from her life.
The twist?
R-chan reportedly spent over 100 million yen on him—gifts, luxury items, rent while they lived together, the works.

Ryoki’s agency responded by saying they’d return the gifts if requested, but the damage was done.
Fans were shocked, the internet buzzed, and now the spotlight is on Shuri—and her dad, legendary actor Mizutani Yutaka (72), is said to be seriously worried.
Shuri, known for her elegance and quiet strength, has always had her father’s deep support.
He even sent her off to study ballet in London when she was young and initially resisted her decision to become an actress after she had to give up dancing.
According to insiders, he’s been protective of her love life for years, even commenting in past interviews that he just wants someone who’ll take care of her.
