On their first anniversary, rising J-pop group ME:I gave fans a night to remember with a powerful showcase for their third single “MUSE” – and a surprise that shook the room: their first-ever arena tour.
Held in Tokyo on 17 April 2025, the event was packed with emotion, fresh performances, and a heartfelt connection between the members and their fans, YOU:ME.
Just when the audience thought the show was winding down, a touching VTR played, ending with the reveal of ME:I’s upcoming arena tour: “THIS IS ME:I”.

As the announcement flashed across the screen, fans erupted into cheers – and many tears. The girls themselves couldn’t hold back either.
Leader MOMONA, fighting tears, said, “There were many times I doubted myself as a leader. But standing here now, announcing our first tour, it feels like we’ve all grown stronger together.”
The night also featured live debuts of “Affogato” and “Ready Go”, with the latter already familiar to many as the ending theme for the current Pokémon anime. Their stage presence continues to evolve, reflecting both skill and sincerity.

Throughout the showcase, members took turns sharing childhood dreams and reflections. KOKONA laughed as she recalled wanting to be a princess, while MIU said she once wanted to become an astronaut.
The stories brought a warm, down-to-earth feel to the night – a reminder that they’re still the same girls who chased dreams and worked hard to stand where they are now.

The "MUSE" single itself shows a softer, more emotional side of ME:I. It blends vulnerability with strength, much like the showcase did.
This new chapter, launched with such energy and honesty, feels like a promise: ME:I are here not just to perform, but to inspire.
In just one year, they’ve gone from debut to dome-worthy. As the lights dimmed on their showcase and the crowd chanted their names, one thing was clear – this is only the beginning.
