KLP48 made their highly anticipated first-ever fan event in Kuala Lumpur on April 26th, held at the lively LaLaport BBCC mall.
Surrounded by fans and the impressive backdrop of the towering Merdeka 118 skyscraper, the group took to the outdoor stage, delivering an unforgettable performance to a crowd of around 2,000 eager fans.
In an electric atmosphere, the members showcased their growth since the group’s reveal in August last year, treating the audience to a full-length set of seven songs.
This was the group’s first chance to shine in front of a live crowd, and they didn’t disappoint.
The show kicked off with their latest track, "Flying Get," and the energy in the air was undeniable.

Even with the challenge of a one-hour delay caused by a sudden downpour, the performance went ahead as planned with perfect weather upon the event's start.
Captain Yi Shyan expressed her relief, sharing, “We were worried about the weather, but I'm so glad we could perform today. It was a full-length set, and though it was tough to check our positions, it felt great to show you all our progress.”
The excitement was palpable, with fans enjoying an interactive performance style, no set calls or chants, just spontaneous cheering and shouting.
KLP48 aimed to reach a global audience, and their set reflected that ambition.
They performed in multiple languages – Malay with "Heavy Rotation," Japanese with "Aitakatta," Chinese with "First Day," and English with "Tears Surprise!" – further cementing their international appeal.
The group's recognition in Malaysia is rapidly growing.
"At first, I was worried because the entertainment culture isn't as developed here, but we're seeing more and more fans show up, especially at our events,” shared member Yamane Suzuha (24), adding, “As we approach our one-year anniversary in August, I feel like we’re really coming together."
KLP48 is also looking to solidify their place in Malaysia with plans for a dedicated theatre opening later this year at the LaLaport BBCC.
