TV personality and half-Japanese-half-American darling SHELLY just dropped some heartfelt news on Instagram, and it's got everyone talking – she's moving to Australia this summer.
In a refreshingly honest and down-to-earth post on the 20th, SHELLY opened with, “This is super personal, but I’ve got something to share!”
She went on to announce that she, her partner, and her three children will be starting a new chapter abroad.
“This is something my partner and I have always talked about – giving the kids a broader perspective, trying out life overseas,” she wrote. “Now that everything’s lined up, we’ve decided to just go for it.”
The destination? Sunny Australia. Think kangaroos, wild coastlines, and the kind of open skies that make Tokyo seem like a shoebox.
SHELLY explained that the move is about giving their family space to grow – both literally and figuratively.
“We want to try new things, challenge ourselves, and really connect with nature. The kids are thrilled, especially about meeting animals – they’re buzzing for it,” she added with a smile you could hear through the screen.
While the move might sound like a major life change, SHELLY made it clear she’s not vanishing from the public eye.
“We don’t have a set timeline – maybe we’ll quietly slip back next year. Who knows? But even while I’m abroad, I plan to keep working and doing my best.”
