AKB48 member Mukaichi Mion has finally put an end to all the rumours about her supposed graduation from the group.
During her solo concert, she made it clear—there will be no big announcements about her leaving the group anytime soon!
"I know you're wondering if there will be any announcements, but let me tell you first... there will be no announcements," she said, reassuring her fans.
However, things took a hilarious turn when Mion confessed that she had pranked fellow AKB48 member Muto Orin into believing she would graduate.
"You told me you would… (announce)," Orin said, clearly shocked.
"Sorry, sorry. I told Orin, 'Actually, I'm going to make an announcement.' I didn't think you'd believe me!" Mion admitted, laughing.
The graduation rumours started spreading wildly on social media, making fans anxious about her future in the group.
But with Mion’s direct statement, everyone can breathe easy—she’s still here, at least until AKB48’s 20th anniversary!
