Murasaki Shion, the smug little dark magician of Hololive’s second generation, has just announced her graduation.
Fans hoping for exciting news were left gutted when she revealed she’d be leaving on April 26, 2025.
COVER Corp confirmed the announcement, thanking fans for nearly seven years of support and promising more details on merch and other send-off plans.
Services like fan letters will close on April 25, while membership perks will remain until July 26.
Naturally, the news hit the Hololive community hard, especially with multiple graduations happening recently.
Even COVER CEO YAGOO took to Twitter, apologising for the wave of departures and promising better support for remaining talents.
Shion, known for her cheeky personality, playful bullying, and legendary “NEEEEEEE” scream, has been a fan favourite.
Her teasing rivalry with Minato Aqua and chaotic antics will surely be missed.
For now, fans have a little over a month to enjoy Shion’s streams before her final bow.
It’s going to be an emotional ride.
