Nogizaka46’s 3rd-gen member Nakamura Reno just dropped a bombshell on her blog—she’s leaving the group.
Yeah, another graduation, but this one hits different.
Reno, who joined Nogizaka46 back in 2016, has been around for some big moments.
She was part of A-sides like Ohitorisama Tengoku and Chance wa Byoudou, and she loved performing on stage more than anything.
In her heartfelt message, she admitted that while she worked hard, she started feeling different about her place in the group.
With her admired seniors gone and the group evolving, she found herself questioning her own path.
She stuck it out for over a year, trying to push forward.
But in the end, she realised she’d rather support Nogizaka46 from the outside as a fan than continue as a member.
It’s a bittersweet goodbye, but it’s clear Reno put a lot of thought into this.
No final show details yet, but fans will surely be there to send her off properly.
Update from Nogizaka46 Official Site:
Nakamura Reno has announced on her blog that she will be graduating from Nogizaka46.
She will not be participating in the group's 38th single Navel Orange, which is set to be released on Wednesday, 26 March 2025.
The exact date of her graduation will be announced once it has been decided.
We appreciate your continued support for Nakamura Reno and Nogizaka46.
