Taiwanese actor Dylan Kuo, turning 48 this year, is done with the rumours—he’s not married and hasn’t been for years!
Taking to social media, the Outsiders star set the record straight: "People keep congratulating me on getting married, but I always tell them—I’m not married. I’ve been single for years."
His post reignited interest in his past relationship with actress Ma Zehan, whom he dated in 2021 and planned to marry in 2023.
The 19-year age gap didn’t stop fans from supporting them, but turns out, their romance ended a long time ago.
Ma Zehan later confirmed they split years back and are both doing well separately.
Dylan also called out the obsession with marriage, wondering why people assume it’s the only path to happiness.
"Life is already tough enough. Why punish ourselves with the opinions of others?" he wrote.
To escape the noise, he’s embraced rock climbing, cycling, and camping, saying these activities help him find peace.
"I realized that what needs to change is not my actions, but my mindset," he shared.
Currently filming a new drama, Dylan says acting is where he finds true joy.
"Doing what I love, playing the roles I want—this happiness is truly fulfilling!"
Dylan first rose to fame in The Outsiders and has since shifted focus to mainland China, starring in multiple dramas.
