Big changes for #BABABABAMBI as Ichinose Kohina and Chise Maho have officially left the group today.
The announcement came from their agency, 01familia, with heartfelt thanks to fans and support teams.
Chise Maho, 21, known for her bright yellow member colour, hails from Kagoshima Prefecture.
She’s decided to end her idol career altogether.
Meanwhile, Ichinose Kohina, 16, a former model contest finalist (once known as Hashimoto Hinami), is moving on for personal reasons.
Standing 157 cm tall, Kohina also has a furry friend, her hamster, Pochi.
#BABABABAMBI, a five-member idol group formed in January 2020, had their debut delayed by COVID-19 but made a splash later in July 2020.
They’re the first group under 01familia and are set to conclude their current chapter with a final live show at Nippon Budokan on 14 March 2024.
Though the two members are leaving, fans are encouraged to continue supporting them in their future paths, as well as the group’s remaining activities.
It’s the end of an era, but #BABABABAMBI’s spirit lives on.
