Koshiba Fuka to Lead ‘Marry My Husband’ Remake

Koshiba Fuka (27) is reportedly set to star in a highly anticipated Amazon Prime Video drama next year, alongside Satoh Takeru (35) and Yokoyama Yu (43).

The show is said to be a Japanese remake of the popular Korean series Marry My Husband.

The original storyline revolves around three pivotal male characters connected to the heroine's life. Satoh is expected to play the romantic lead, while Yokoyama may portray the antagonist.

Shooting is rumoured to begin early next year, hinting at a major release.

Koshiba's shift to Topcoat agency has sparked conversations about her evolving image as a mature actress.

Following her success in Wave, Listen to Me! and her upcoming NHK Taiga drama Berabo, Koshiba is breaking away from her comedic roots.

With these challenging roles, Koshiba is stepping into more dramatic and mature characters.

Her transition into diverse genres, coupled with her new agency's backing, suggests she’s aiming for national acclaim.

The remake has already created buzz, with expectations that it could mirror the success of other streaming hits. Fans eagerly await more updates as Koshiba continues her journey as one of Japan's most promising talents.
