Japanese tennis ace Nishikori Kei (35) has landed in the headlines again, and not for his serves or backhands. According to an exclusive report by Shukan Bunshun, Nishikori has allegedly been in an ongoing affair with model Oguchi Azuki (32)—a relationship that started way back in 2022 and, despite earlier attempts to cut things off, appears to still be very much alive.

Let’s rewind a bit. Nishikori’s long-time relationship with model and former talent Mizuki Ako dates back to 2015, and the couple tied the knot officially in December 2020. Their wedding ceremony and reception came two years later in December 2022—but here’s the kicker: according to Bunshun, Nishikori was already seeing Oguchi Azuki just days before that ceremony, during a tour stop in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The affair reportedly began when Nishikori approached Oguchi in Hawaii, and things escalated from there. While Nishikori was publicly preparing for his formal celebration with Ako, privately he was already two-timing her—with Oguchi completely unaware of the timing at first.

Fast forward to 2023, and Oguchi’s then-boyfriend discovered what had been going on. The boyfriend reportedly confronted Nishikori with multiple pieces of evidence of the affair. Not wanting to cause a public scandal, Nishikori had his lawyer step in to mediate. A quiet negotiation ensued, which resulted in the boyfriend deleting the evidence—and Oguchi officially ending that relationship.

Sources say Nishikori Kei has continued seeing Oguchi in secret since last year, even though he remains married to Mizuki Ako. He’s reportedly told Oguchi that he “no longer loves his wife” but that he “can’t leave her because of the kids.” Nishikori and Ako have two children—one born in May 2021, and their second child welcomed in 2024.
Despite ending things once before, Nishikori and Oguchi were spotted together again on the night of 11 June 2025, when he was seen visiting her apartment. This sighting has reignited speculation that their relationship is far from over.

Neither Nishikori nor his agency have issued any public comment on the report, and Oguchi has remained silent as well.
