MNL48 has officially announced that Lara, one of the group’s members, has been dismissed due to serious rule violations.

This comes after a video surfaced online in which Lara openly criticised fellow members for being lazy. She claimed that their lack of dedication and effort had caused delays in releasing the group's much-anticipated single.

The video quickly circulated on social media, gaining traction among fans and stirring up a lot of emotions. Many were shocked to hear such accusations, especially from a member within the group itself.

In the clip, Lara didn’t hold back as she aired her frustrations, blaming certain members for dragging their feet and, ultimately, affecting the entire group's progress.

The management of MNL48 was quick to respond to the situation, issuing a statement confirming Lara’s dismissal.

They stressed that her actions were in violation of the group’s code of conduct, which includes maintaining professionalism and unity among members. The group emphasised that these rules are in place to ensure harmony and respect within the team.

Fans have been divided in their reactions. Some are siding with Lara, suggesting that perhaps her frustrations were valid, while others feel her public outburst was unprofessional and damaging to the group’s reputation.

MNL48 management hasn’t commented further on whether the accusations Lara made will be investigated or if any disciplinary actions will be taken against the other members she mentioned. For now, the focus seems to be on moving forward and ensuring that the group continues to thrive despite the setback.
