Few days ago AKS release an official statement that there is an issue with JR East redevelopment leads AKB48 Cafe & Shop store into trouble, so they said they will close the store in Akihabara.
JR East management has said, there is NO plans of redevelopment around. A store next to AKB48 Cafe & Shop has also said no plans in relocating.
AKB48 Cafe statement: "We're closing due to redevelopment around the station."
Gundam Cafe statement: "We have no plans to relocate or close" (official phone reply)
JR East statement: "Currently there are no redevelopment or renovation plans. If we do we will issue a press release." (official email reply).
