| Zuri and Ben From 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way: Where Are They Now? |
Zuri Soto and Benjamin “Ben” Brachet arrived in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8 with a relationship that had already survived distance, cultural differences and a temporary split. The couple first met while Zuri was studying in the UK and Ben was living in Nancy, France. What began as a conversation eventually became a serious relationship, with Zuri later moving to France to see whether their plans could work beyond the excitement of travelling and dating.
Their story has not exactly been a smooth French postcard. Zuri had to adjust to life in another country while also questioning whether she could genuinely fit into Ben’s culture. The pair eventually separated for a period, but that distance did not end the relationship. Instead, they found their way back to each other and decided to see whether the second attempt could succeed.
That reunion came with its own complications. Ben’s friends were not immediately convinced that Zuri was the right person for him, and their doubts put the couple under additional pressure. Zuri felt that some of the comments reduced her to a stereotype rather than treating her as an individual, describing the experience as feeling like she was being viewed as a “Dumb American”. It is hardly the welcome anyone dreams of after moving countries for a relationship.
Things became even more awkward when Zuri discovered that Ben had briefly been involved with another woman during their separation. Naturally, that raised questions about whether the past was genuinely finished or simply waiting for an inconvenient moment to reappear. Despite the uncertainty, Zuri and Ben continued trying to work through their differences rather than walking away again.
Away from the drama of 90 Day Fiancé, Zuri has built a career that has little to do with reality television. She graduated from Roger Williams University in 2021 with a degree in Communication and Media Studies and a minor in Music, before completing a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism (Broadcasting) at the University of Westminster in 2022.
Her professional experience began well before her television appearance. Zuri worked as a post-production intern at NBC Sports in 2017 and later took on several roles across media and communications. In December 2024, she became Director of Outreach and Media at Factory Underground, followed by freelance work as a Social Media Manager from March 2025. By September that year, she had moved into a Marketing Specialist role at Moore Strategies LLC, where she continues to work. She left Factory Underground in January 2026.
Zuri's social life also appears to be just as international as her career. She has travelled to destinations including Portugal, Croatia, Singapore and England, while a May 2026 trip to Switzerland gave her and her friends plenty of snow-covered scenery to admire. She is also clearly a sports enthusiast, with football and soccer stadium visits among her interests. Skiing and jet skiing add a slightly more energetic touch to the travel itinerary.
Ben, meanwhile, has kept his professional life considerably more private. His public presence gives more attention to travel, friendships, food and outdoor experiences, offering glimpses of what he gets up to away from the cameras. His travels have included London in 2022, Budva in Montenegro later that year and the Czech Republic in early 2023.
He also travelled to Cancun, Mexico, in March 2023 and later visited Hungary with friends in May 2025. Ben seems particularly comfortable combining city breaks with time in nature, while trying different foods along the way. His travel history suggests someone who is happiest when there is somewhere new to explore and, preferably, something good to eat at the end of it.
Travel has also become an important part of Zuri and Ben's relationship. Their shared adventures include a London night out in May 2023, followed by Ben's trip to New York in December that year, when he spent time with Zuri in the city. In November 2024, the couple were together in Paris, enjoying wine and the sort of romantic scenery that practically begs to be posted online.
Their international itinerary continued into 2026. In January, they travelled to Montréal, Québec, with Zuri jokingly calling the destination “Freezin World” after seeing just how cold it could get. Four months later, they were swapping winter layers for sunshine in Mykonos, Greece. Ben later teased Zuri about dancing in her holiday pictures, writing, “I remember you. You was danciiiiiing,” which clearly left her a little embarrassed.
By September, the couple were enjoying another adventure in the Dominican Republic, where they spent time around spider monkeys. Their online exchanges continued to show plenty of affection, including Zuri complimenting one of Ben's pictures with a playful “Wow, how sexy!” So, whatever doubts surrounded their relationship earlier in their story, they certainly have not stopped them from collecting passport stamps together.
My take is that Zuri and Ben are probably at their most interesting when the relationship is stripped of the usual reality-TV theatrics. The biggest question is not whether they can find another photogenic holiday destination; clearly, they can. The harder test is whether two people with different backgrounds, expectations and social circles can actually build an everyday life together. Zuri seems ambitious and comfortable carving out her own career, while Ben appears happiest travelling, eating and enjoying life with his close circle.
That sounds lovely until someone has to decide where to live, whose culture takes priority and what happens when the holiday ends. The friends' scepticism adds another layer, because relationships rarely exist in a vacuum. Still, their decision to reconnect after separating says something. They could have left the story there, but instead they kept choosing each other, one trip at a time. Whether that becomes a lasting commitment is the part worth watching.
For now, Zuri and Ben remain one of the more travel-heavy couples from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8, with their relationship unfolding across France, Britain, North America, Europe and beyond. Their journey has included romance, uncertainty, friendship drama and enough international travel to make most people's holiday budgets look slightly embarrassed. The real test, though, will be what happens when the suitcases are finally put away. Do you think Zuri and Ben have what it takes to make their relationship last, or are they better at travelling together than building a life together? Share your take on the couple and their 90 Day Fiancé journey.
