Ava and Jeffrey Ganz may have entered Netflix’s Wonka’s The Golden Ticket hoping to win $3 million, but their biggest achievement was arguably making it through the Chocolate Factory without letting the competition wreck their father-daughter partnership. Since their Season 1 run, Ava has continued building a career in creative media in New York, while Jeffrey has remained closer to home in California and largely kept his life away from the spotlight.
The father-daughter pair arrived at the Factory knowing that survival would depend on more than simply winning challenges. The opening twist immediately put Jeffrey in a difficult position, as he disappeared into a gumball after the contestants entered the Factory. Ava, rather sensibly, decided that standing around waiting for someone else to solve the problem was probably not the winning strategy.

She worked with Spotlight Agency as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern before taking marketing and sales roles with Greek House and Florence Musk. In March 2025, Ava founded Ganz Creative, taking on the role of Founder and Creative Director. The company focuses on creative support, social-media strategy, content production and platform-specific content. Rather than simply appearing on a reality show and moving on, Ava has used her background in marketing and digital content to establish a business around the same creative world she had already been working in.
Ava has also been exploring comedy in New York, performing at comedy clubs alongside her creative career. That combination feels fitting for someone whose reality-TV experience already involved keeping calm while her father occasionally ignored her instructions. Her social presence also offers glimpses into life in the city and the creative projects she continues to pursue.
More recently, Ava shared the loss of her dogs, Daisy and Tobi, who died only weeks apart. It was a difficult period for her, although she found some comfort in the fact that the two had each other. Away from the Chocolate Factory and her professional work, it is one of the more personal glimpses she has offered into her life since the show.
Jeffrey Ganz, meanwhile, has maintained a considerably quieter public profile. He is based in Newport Beach, California, and appears to keep most of his professional and personal affairs away from the entertainment spotlight. Unlike his daughter, he has not turned his brief reality-TV appearance into a public-facing career.
What is more visible is Jeffrey's role within his family. He and his wife, Beverly Ganz, have two children, Ava and Jordan Ganz. The family travelled to Russia together in 2015, while Jeffrey has also shared an interest in tennis, including attending matches when he gets the opportunity. Apparently, surviving a giant chocolate factory competition was not enough excitement to replace a good afternoon watching tennis.
His relationship with Ava also appears to have remained close despite her move to New York. The two may now be living on opposite sides of the United States, but the distance has not stopped Jeffrey from staying involved in her life. His presence in Ava's story after the show is less about chasing fame and more about continuing the same supportive role viewers saw during their time in the Factory.

My take is that Ava and Jeffrey's journey works because it never felt like a perfectly rehearsed reality-TV partnership. Ava was clearly willing to take risks when her father needed saving, but she was also perfectly capable of telling him when he was making things unnecessarily complicated. Jeffrey, meanwhile, seemed happy to let his daughter take centre stage while still offering the support expected of a parent. Their post-show paths make that dynamic even clearer.
Ava has built something of her own rather than relying on the fame of the programme, and Ganz Creative gives her a way to combine several strands of experience into one business. Jeffrey's quieter life is just as telling: not every contestant needs to turn a reality-TV appearance into a second career. Sometimes the Chocolate Factory is simply a very strange chapter in an otherwise ordinary family story.
