| The Traitors: New Blood’s Logan Smith: Where Is He Now? |
Logan Smith may have entered The Traitors: New Blood hoping to become one of the castle’s Traitors, but his sharp observations instead helped put a target on his back. The Tennessee Realtor quickly became one of the contestants willing to say what he was thinking, particularly when he started questioning Katie Fites. That eagerness to investigate ultimately proved rather inconvenient. Away from the Scottish Highlands, however, Logan has returned to the life he had before reality television, working in commercial and residential real estate while building a life with his fiancée, MaKenzie Marshall.
Before joining NBC’s The Traitors: New Blood, Logan already had a fairly convincing argument for why he should be trusted with a deception-heavy game. His experience in real estate had taught him how to negotiate, read a room and guide conversations without necessarily making his intentions obvious. In other words, he had spent years selling property and suddenly found himself in a castle where everyone was essentially trying to sell a version of themselves. It was almost suspiciously convenient.
Logan arrived with a clear ambition: he wanted to become a Traitor. He believed his professional skills could give him an advantage if he were chosen to secretly eliminate fellow contestants while maintaining their trust. At the same time, he understood that appearing useful to the group mattered. During challenges, he made an effort to demonstrate that he could work with the other players rather than spending every waking minute looking like someone who had wandered into the castle carrying a magnifying glass.
His competitive motivation was also personal. Logan wanted to win the prize money partly because he hoped it would help him give his fiancée the wedding she dreamed of. That goal gave him another reason to take the game seriously, although the problem with taking The Traitors seriously is that everyone else is doing exactly the same thing.
Logan quickly settled into the game by watching how contestants behaved and looking for changes that might indicate someone was hiding something. His attention eventually landed on Katie Fites after Xavier Scruggs raised concerns about her, suggesting that her nervous behaviour could point towards her being a Traitor. While other contestants began considering alternative suspects, Logan remained interested in Katie.
Rather than quietly filing the suspicion away for later, Logan was willing to discuss it. He pointed out that Katie had caught his attention and continued examining the possibility as the competition progressed. That persistence became increasingly noticeable as more clues and questionable moments appeared around the castle.
The situation became particularly interesting after Michael Foote discussed a clue discovered during the third challenge and raised questions surrounding Victor Vollbrechthausen and Arisa Thomas during the truth test. Logan, however, continued returning to Katie and laid out several reasons why he believed she could be working against the Faithful.
By the time the Death Parade and following Round Table arrived, Logan's suspicions had become difficult to ignore. Unfortunately for him, being observant is only useful in The Traitors until the people doing the lying notice that you are particularly good at noticing things.
The Traitors eventually chose to eliminate Logan, bringing his time in the competition to an end. His departure left him wondering whether his instincts about Katie had been correct or whether he had spent valuable energy chasing the wrong suspect. Either way, his willingness to investigate made him memorable during his relatively short run.
Outside the show, Logan Smith is continuing his career in real estate, with his work covering both commercial and residential properties. His professional background began after he graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in February 2018. By April 2020, he had moved into commercial real estate as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor/Agent.
In November 2021, Logan added another job to his CV when he joined Assured Auto as Lead Automotive Technician and Manager. Around the same time, he also started working as a Licensed Realtor with Weichert Realtors-Saxon Clark. He eventually left both positions in November 2023, allowing his professional focus to move more firmly towards property.
Logan subsequently joined MG Rise Real Estate Group, where he works as a Commercial and Residential Realtor. His work is particularly connected to the Great Smoky Mountains region, with his areas of expertise including commercial property, investment properties and development opportunities. He also works as a strategic development advisor, giving his career a broader focus than simply putting a “for sale” sign outside a house and hoping for the best.
His property work also continues across online platforms, including Zillow, where his listings can be showcased to prospective buyers and investors. Meanwhile, Logan has maintained an active social media presence. His TikTok following has grown beyond 3,900, while his Instagram audience has reached around 1,600. Much of his content revolves around real estate, although he also gives followers occasional glimpses into his life away from property listings.
And that personal life has been moving along rather nicely. Logan has been in a relationship with MaKenzie Marshall since November 2019, with the couple celebrating six years together in November 2025. Their relationship has included plenty of travel, dates and ordinary moments together, from holiday celebrations to dancing in the snow. It is considerably less complicated than figuring out who is secretly murdering people at a Scottish castle, at least on the surface.
The relationship reached another major milestone in April 2026 when Logan proposed to MaKenzie and she said yes. The engagement came after years together and set the couple on the road towards their wedding. Logan has continued to publicly celebrate their relationship, including a birthday message for MaKenzie in August 2026 in which he described her as his best friend and biggest supporter.
Travel has also become part of their life together. In March 2026, Logan and MaKenzie travelled to Japan, where they explored the country's streets and food. A few months later, they headed to Las Vegas, Nevada, adding another very different destination to their collection of shared adventures.
When he is not working or travelling, Logan appears happiest outdoors. He enjoys hiking, exploring waterfalls and cliffs, walking through forests and spending long stretches fishing. He has also developed an interest in insects, occasionally sharing information about the creatures he encounters. It is an oddly wholesome contrast to the paranoia of The Traitors, where an innocent-looking conversation over breakfast could apparently become evidence of an international conspiracy.
Logan also has a much smaller member of the household to keep him company. His kitten has been part of his family since 2023, and his social media posts show the animal receiving plenty of attention. After spending time in a competition where trusting the wrong person could get you eliminated, coming home to a kitten that presumably only wants food and cuddles must feel like a significant improvement.
My take is that Logan's story after The Traitors: New Blood is arguably more interesting because it shows that reality television was only one part of his life rather than the whole thing. He already had a career, a relationship and plenty of interests before entering the castle, and those things did not suddenly disappear once the cameras stopped following him. His decision to lean into his instincts made for entertaining television, even if it also helped make him noticeable to the people he was trying to uncover.
There is something amusing about a contestant essentially saying, “I am very good at reading people,” only for the people being read to decide they would rather not be read anymore. Still, Logan appears to have taken the experience in stride. These days, his attention is back on property, travel, the outdoors, his kitten and his upcoming marriage rather than figuring out which contestant is lying through their teeth.
So, where is Logan Smith now? He is continuing to work as a commercial and residential Realtor in the Great Smoky Mountains region, developing his property career while enjoying life with MaKenzie and preparing for their future together.
His time on The Traitors: New Blood may have ended sooner than he wanted, but the real-estate agent from Tennessee clearly had plenty waiting for him outside the castle.
