Qi Tie Zui suspects that it may contain Zhurong Silk, and when he attempts to move closer, he is struck by one of the opposing soldiers. Zhang Qi Shan orders Zhang Xiao Yu to take Qi Tie Zui away from the fight, knowing that continuing would put them in even greater danger.
At the same time, Wu Lao Gou and Huo Xian Gu finally reach the enormous root system beneath the tower. But what initially looks like a network of roots turns out to be something far stranger: it is made from hair.

The tablet tells the story of a young woman named Hua Zi, who followed the World-Parting Ancestor and entered the tower as a disciple. The deeper the group travelled into the World-Parting Tower, the more disturbing the techniques became.
Some followers began to lose their courage, but the World-Parting Ancestor continued encouraging them to go further, insisting that anyone seeking to uncover the secrets of heaven had to accept sacrifices along the way. Eventually, all the followers disappeared, leaving only the World-Parting Ancestor and Hua Zi.
This is where the finale finally exposes the darker truth behind the tower. The World-Parting Ancestor regretted losing the followers and attempted to use supernatural techniques to restore them.
Hua Zi realised that the methods were causing harm rather than offering salvation, but the World-Parting Ancestor refused to listen. Instead, Hua Zi was forced to take an unusual medicine and wait for its effects. When nothing happened to her, she finally understood that the person she had followed was not the enlightened figure she believed him to be.
