In other words, the reports largely echoed online speculation instead of citing official statements from the cast or production team.
The available behind-the-scenes footage also offers little support for the rumour. While it shows Zhang Linghe and Wang Churan filming the intimate scene before laughing, smiling and appearing slightly shy once the cameras stop rolling, there is no visible evidence that Zhang Linghe's lip was injured or bleeding.
