Chinese actor-turned-entrepreneur Li Yapeng has officially announced the end of his marriage to model-actress Haiha Jinxi, marking his second divorce. On October 14, the couple posted a short, heartfelt video on social media set to Someday by Yara Meyers, confirming that they had quietly finalised their divorce some time ago.
“We wanted to keep things quiet, but with so many concerned friends asking, we decided to make it public,” they wrote.
“We have completed the divorce procedures earlier. Our daughter will live with her mother, and we will co-parent together. We started with this song and end with this song – we are both fine.”

Li Yapeng and Haiha Jinxi tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their daughter Li Xia, now three years old.
The pair’s relationship had always attracted public attention — partly due to their 19-year age gap, and partly because of Li Yapeng’s reputation as the former husband of superstar Faye Wong, with whom he shares daughter Li Yan.
Back in May 2025, Haiha Jinxi had tried to shut down rumours of separation, insisting that the couple were just living apart because of work.

Li Yapeng was busy in Yunnan, managing his tea business ventures, while Haiha Jinxi stayed in Beijing, running her studio and handling family matters.
She even mentioned that they’d downsized their home to ease financial pressure, as Li Yapeng has been dealing with long-standing business debts.
What set the pair apart was their honesty.
When their financial struggles became a trending topic earlier this year, Haiha Jinxi didn’t shy away from admitting it publicly.
She told followers that the family was moving into a smaller rented home — both to save money and to live closer to her office.
At the time, she emphasised that the move wasn’t a sign of marital trouble, explaining that both she and Li Yapeng were “facing difficulties together” and prioritising debt repayment.

When asked why she married a man nearly two decades older, Haiha Jinxi responded with charm and conviction:
“Love isn’t something you can plan. It just happens. It’s 2025 – are we still limiting love and marriage by age?”
Li Yapeng, once the leading man of classic dramas like Romance in the Rain and Cherish Our Love Forever, has spent recent years reinventing himself as a businessman and livestream seller.
His career pivot came after several failed investments left him with serious debt.
Back in 2023, headlines claimed he was forced to repay 40 million yuan, to which Li Yapeng responded by admitting his own misjudgment: “My passion outweighed my ability,” he wrote, calling it the “darkest period” of his life.
Still, he remained determined — “Debts must be repaid, no excuses.”
Nowadays, Li Yapeng can be found hosting livestream sales, where nostalgic fans often flood the comments with messages like:
“Jing-ge, you should’ve stayed in acting – you were brilliant!”
This divorce, unlike many celebrity splits, comes across as amicable and mature.
Both Li Yapeng and Haiha Jinxi appear to be focusing on co-parenting their daughter while continuing their own careers.
Though fans expressed sadness at the end of their marriage, many praised their calm and transparent handling of the situation — a rare sight in today’s entertainment industry drama cycle.
“They started with a song and ended with a song,” one netizen commented. “It’s bittersweet, but at least it’s peaceful.”
