Li Yapeng’s Wife Denies Divorce Rumours: "We’re in This Together" (Douyin/Weibo) |
Back in 2023, Li Yapeng made headlines after admitting that a failed real estate investment left him buried under a mountain of debt — we’re talking RMB 40 million (around US$5.5 million).
With that kind of sum hanging over his head, it's no surprise he ended up in court again and is currently under enforcement by the authorities to repay what he owes.
But instead of quietly disappearing from the spotlight, Li Yapeng’s been working overtime — quite literally — to pay it all off. These days, he’s turned to online livestreaming, putting in long hours to earn every penny he can. And he’s not doing it alone.
In a recent livestream of her own, wife Haiha Jinxi addressed the rumours head-on — no, they’re not getting divorced, and no, she’s not about to walk away just because times are tough.
"He’s still working very hard to pay off everything," she shared candidly. “We even moved from our villa to a smaller flat to make things easier financially.”
The former beauty queen made it crystal clear that she’s sticking by her husband. Not only is she emotionally supportive, but she’s also rolling up her sleeves and livestreaming herself to help bring in extra income.

"I'm just a regular girl. I don't need the rich lifestyle to be happy," she said with a smile. “We’re in this together.”
Naturally, many wondered why Li Yapeng doesn’t just return to acting — surely a few drama gigs could ease the burden, right? But Haiha Jinxi had an answer for that too.
“No one's asked him to come back to acting. I used to hope he would, but I get it now. Actors have to step into someone else’s shoes, live someone else’s life. He’s got his own goals he wants to chase.”
Li Yapeng first rose to fame through film and TV, but he’s perhaps best known for his high-profile marriage to Cantopop queen Faye Wong.
The two tied the knot in 2005 and had a daughter together before splitting in 2013. He stepped away from acting not long after, shifting gears into business. In 2022, he married Haiha Jinxi, and they welcomed their daughter, Li Xia.
Despite the challenges, it’s clear this family is sticking together — debt, drama, livestreams and all.
