On 22 October, the official When I Meet the Moon production team posted a statement to clarify the situation.
They confirmed that Lin Yi had been examined by medical professionals and had not sustained any serious injuries.
“Following the incident, Mr. Lin Yi was promptly taken to hospital for a comprehensive medical evaluation. The results showed no serious harm,” the team wrote.
“With his personal consent and approval from the doctors, he successfully completed the remaining filming schedule that day.”
The statement also assured fans that Lin Yi’s condition is stable and that there’s no cause for concern.
