Chinese entertainment is once again buzzing after an alleged participant list for Sisters Who Make Waves 2026 started circulating on social media earlier this October.
The survival show, known for spotlighting powerful women from across Asia, seems to be going global this time — and fans couldn’t be more hyped.
Among the biggest surprises?
Thai actress Baifern Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, who reportedly will represent Thailand in the show’s seventh season.
Best known for her timeless role in A Little Thing Called Love, Baifern is already a household name across Asia, and her possible inclusion has sparked major online chatter.
If the rumour turns out true, Baifern will follow in the footsteps of fellow Thai icons Mai Davika Hoorne (season 2024) and Nune Woranuch (season 2025), both of whom brought Thai charm and stage presence that won over Chinese audiences.
Star-Studded Rumoured Line-up
The leaked list doesn’t stop there — it also features several huge names from China’s own A-list, including Chen Hao, Li Ruotong, Victoria Song, Yang Zi, and G.E.M..
To top it off, fans were floored to see Krystal Jung (formerly of f(x)), virtual singer Luo Tianyi, and even Hollywood actress Kate Winslet among the supposed participants.
While it’s clearly an ambitious mix, the idea of East-meets-West collaboration has set Weibo on fire.
Weibo’s on Fire — But No Official Word Yet
The production team behind Sisters Who Make Waves has yet to confirm anything, but the buzz has already snowballed into one of this month’s hottest entertainment topics.
Many netizens are thrilled by the idea of international stars sharing the same stage, calling it a “dream crossover we never expected.”
Fans of Baifern in particular say her elegant image and emotional depth could bring something fresh to the high-energy, performance-driven format of the show.
“She’s got that Thai grace and global appeal — perfect for the vibe,” one Weibo comment read.
A Global Stage for Women in Entertainment
If the rumours are true, Sisters Who Make Waves 2026 might just be the show’s most international season yet — and Baifern’s participation could mark another proud moment for Thai representation in Chinese media.
