| Mai Davika and Ter Chantavit Officially Engaged After 7 Years Together |
On 12 June, actress-model Davika Hoorne (33) and screenwriter-actor Ter Chantavit (41) took to Instagram with a sweet joint announcement that sent Thai showbiz into celebration mode. “We’re already engaged!” wrote Mai, flashing a bright smile — and an even brighter diamond ring.
In true Davika fashion, the announcement came with a beautifully edited video capturing the proposal moment. Let’s just say: cinematic, emotional, and full of love. The clip showed Ter on one knee, Mai Davika glowing with joy, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you go, “Yep, this is better than any K-drama finale.”

A Love Story Seven Years in the Making
If you’ve been following these two, you’ll know their romance didn’t start overnight. The duo first met in 2013 during the filming of Thailand’s blockbuster horror-romance Pee Mak, where Davika starred as the iconic ghost Nak and Ter was one of the brains behind the screenplay.
Fast-forward to 2017, they shared the screen again in the comedy flick Chai Mai Jing Ying Tae (A Fake Tootsie). Sparks flew off-camera too, and the two officially became a couple in 2018. Since then, they've quietly become one of the most solid, unproblematic pairings in the Thai entertainment scene.
Whether they’re starring in campaigns together or just posting goofy couple snaps, Ter and Mai’s chemistry has always felt real and refreshingly drama-free.
