| NMB48’s Wada Miyu Unveils Covers and Details for Debut Photobook ‘Kakushinhan’ |
NMB48’s Wada Miyu is giving fans one more major keepsake before she bows out of idol life. Her first ever photobook, titled ‘Kakushinhan’ (確信犯), is set to hit shelves on 15 October 2025 via Wani Books.
The covers are already sparking buzz: the standard edition shows Miyu’s bright, playful side in a pop-coloured cut, while the Seven Net exclusive edition goes for a more refined mood, featuring her elegant profile shot in soft lighting.
Born in 1997 in Hyogo Prefecture, Wada Miyu joined NMB48 in 2020 as a 7th generation recruit at the age of 23 – quite a late start in idol years.
But what she lacked in early timing, she made up for in charm and charisma, quickly earning the nickname “the ultimate late-arriving heroine.”

Her natural friendliness and photogenic style soon propelled her forward: she became a full member in 2022, and by 2023’s single ‘Nagisa Saikou!’, she was already a selected member.
Since then, Wada Miyu has been a consistent presence in the group’s frontline.
Shot entirely in Okinawa, the photobook captures Wada Miyuu in all sorts of moods – from vibrant beach shots under the blazing island sun to daring concept cuts, including striking cosplay themes and bubble-bath scenes.
The editorial team has described the 128-page collection as “an all-out explosion of her best looks.”
With a price tag of ¥3,300 and a B5 format, it’s both a collector’s piece and a farewell gift to long-time fans.

Wada Miyu announced her graduation this July at the group’s theatre performance “M no Sign”, aiming to step away from NMB48 around November.
That makes this photobook her first – and likely last – as an official member, turning it into a memorial volume that sums up her idol journey.
To mark the release, Wada will also host fan handover events in Tokyo and Osaka, details of which are available on the official NMB48 website.
For fans, ‘Kakushinhan’ isn’t just another photobook – it’s the closing chapter of Wada Miyu’s idol story.
