Anonymous posts across entertainment forums accused Song Yi of everything from raising her voice at makeup artists for minor mistakes, to refusing to step out of her car on filming days if the setup wasn’t to her liking.
One particularly juicy claim even suggested she only agreed to continue working after the producer handed over luxury gifts as an apology.

Song Yi’s studio wasted no time in shutting things down.
In a formal statement, they stressed that the claims were completely fabricated with the sole purpose of damaging her reputation.

“All of these accusations are entirely baseless. These rumours were deliberately constructed to smear Song Yi’s public image. The false claims have already caused severe impact due to reposts and comments online,” the studio stated, as reported by World Journal.
The statement also carried a stern warning for gossip-spreaders.
The studio demanded that all defamatory content be deleted immediately and reminded users that accountability is non-negotiable.
Not just empty words — the studio confirmed they had gathered screenshots and evidence from several Weibo accounts that helped circulate the rumours.

Legal proceedings are being prepared, with the team making it clear they won’t hesitate to push cases forward to court.
This isn’t the first time Song Yi has had to address online speculation.
Just last month she personally clarified rumours about her appearance, telling fans she hadn’t undergone surgery but had simply switched to a new makeup artist and lost a little weight due to workload.
For now, her stance is firm: Song Yi isn’t letting baseless talk slide, and she’s ready to take it all the way to court if needed.
