| Former NGT48 Star Ogino Yuka Announces Arrival of First Child: “A Miracle Every Step” |
Former NGT48 member Ogino Yuka has officially stepped into a brand-new role: motherhood.
The 26-year-old talent announced the safe arrival of her first child this week, just months after marrying a non-celebrity husband back in February and and announced her pregnancy in April.
In a heartfelt message posted alongside photos with her newborn, Ogino Yuka described the experience as “far tougher than I could ever have imagined, but also nothing short of miraculous.”
She recalled the moment she first heard her baby’s cry:
“All the pain and exhaustion disappeared instantly, and when I held my child for the first time, the joy was so overwhelming that I couldn’t stop crying.”

Ogino Yuka went on to thank her family and the medical staff who supported her throughout the birth, as well as fans who have continued to cheer her on since her idol days.
She also gave a special shout-out to her husband, praising his dedication even during the toughest days:
“Even after long days at work, he came to see me every night until visiting hours ended. He’s been amazing—feeding, changing nappies, carrying the baby, and even looking after me. Thank you so much!”

Once considered one of NGT48’s brightest prospects, Ogino Yuuka’s career took an unexpected turn after she was caught up in the controversy surrounding the 2019 Maho Yamaguchi assault incident.
Though she herself was not accused of wrongdoing, the scandal cast a shadow over her idol chapter.
A man was even arrested later for issuing death threats against her.
Ogino Yuka graduated from the group in 2021, left her agency half a year later, and has since been working freelance.
Her announcement of marriage earlier this year and pregnancy news in April showed a shift toward a more private, family-focused life.
