Youku has officially launched its latest Chinese crime thriller drama Double Track Puzzle (黑白局), also known as Black and White Bureau.
The 20-episode drama, directed and written by Zhao Junkai, promises an intense ride into the murky world of crime, justice, and moral dilemmas.
A Father’s Legacy, A Complex Web of Crime

The story follows Zhan Peng (played by Yang Xuwen), a young railway policeman inspired by his late father’s sacrifice.
Determined to continue his father’s legacy, he takes up a post at Xiaotong station—only to realise the world of justice isn’t as straightforward as he once thought.
His suspicion soon falls on Tu Hongjiang (Wang Yanhui), a seasoned officer whose methods appear questionable during a drug trafficking case.
But as the drama unfolds, trust replaces doubt, and the unlikely duo eventually joins forces to tackle a far-reaching criminal mastermind.
