It’s official – ABO DESIRE, the highly-anticipated Chinese BL web drama, has been removed from the international versions of Youku, WeTV, and iQIYI.
The heartbreaking news dropped via a statement from production company Durian Culture, who confirmed that after weeks of back-and-forth, the global rollout on these platforms has now been terminated.
“Despite prolonged efforts, we have not achieved our goal. As of today, Youku International, WeTV International and iQIYI International will immediately halt all broadcasts,” the statement reads.
According to the official message, the decision aligns with directions from relevant authorities – though specifics weren’t mentioned.

The overseas content team also expressed regret, thanking fans for their continued support and promising that YouTube is still trying to get the show back up on its platform. If that happens, they'll update fans right away.
