Mickey Huang’s Shame: Selling Taipei Flat to Pay Off Victims After Vile Video Scandal

Mickey Huang, once a household name in Taiwanese showbiz, is now facing the brutal aftermath of a scandal that’s blown his entire career to pieces.

The 51-year-old former host is entangled in a deeply disturbing case involving the possession of explicit videos, some of which allegedly feature minors. Reports claim Huang not only coerced but manipulated teenage girls into taking indecent photos, leaving public opinion in absolute tatters.

The fallout has been catastrophic: he’s effectively lost his livelihood overnight, his shiny public image is in ruins, and sources say his income has completely dried up.

As if that wasn’t enough, Mickey Huang has to fork out legal compensation to a staggering 47 victims, with the total sum pegged at nearly 10 million Taiwanese dollars — a mind-boggling hit to his personal finances.

In a desperate bid to scrape together the money, Huang has already flogged his car and even let out his work studio to bring in some cash.

But it’s clearly not enough. Local media now report he’s selling off a private property tucked away in a side alley near Xinsheng North Road in Taipei.

This particular unit, situated in the “Jinlian Nanjing Jeyun Rooftop” complex, is being marketed at 43 million Taiwanese dollars.

The flat itself is 13 years old, boasting three bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, and a generous three parking spaces — a pretty sizeable home by Taipei standards.
