Tencent has officially started production on Wishing You Eternal Happiness (表妹万福 / Biao Mei Wan Fu) — Unconfirmed English title (official title TBA), adapted from the popular novel of the same name by author Peng Lai Ke – yep, the same writer behind Prisoner of Beauty, so you know you’re in for swoony angst and slowburn vibes.
After a flurry of casting rumours, it's now confirmed that Song Zu Er and Chen Xin Hai are taking the lead roles – and fans are buzzing. The pairing had been whispered about online for weeks, but this marks the first official reveal. And judging by early on-set photos and visuals, the drama’s leaning into those elegant, embroidered textures à la The Sword and the Brocade – think refined, graceful, with a sprinkle of court tension.
