Yukirin & Suga-chan Spotted on Cosy Izakaya Date in Tokyo—She Even Picked Up the Bill! (Josei Seven) |
Looks like things are still lovey-dovey in the land of showbiz couples—Kashiwagi Yuki (33), beloved ex-AKB48 member, and her comedian boyfriend Suga-chan Saikou No.1 (also 33) were seen enjoying a proper chill date at a trendy izakaya in central Tokyo in late May, according to Josei Seven. And yes, she paid.
The pair were clocked having a quiet moment together at a stylish robata-style izakaya tucked inside a skyscraper—one of those places that serves up everything from premium sake to hand-crafted tsukesoba (cold dipping noodles) that even ramen fanatics rate. It was a weeknight, but the place was buzzing as usual.

Spotted at the counter, keeping it low-key under a bucket hat and caps, were none other than Yukirin and Suga-chan, side by side and clearly comfortable in each other's company.
You might remember—Josei Seven first broke news of their romance last summer, shortly after Yukirin made a surprise appearance at Suga-chan’s 10th anniversary comedy live show.

The two even sang a duet together, melting hearts with their on-stage chemistry. After the show and a long night of afterparties, they were reportedly seen heading back to Yukirin’s tower flat together, sparking the first real buzz about their relationship.
Since then, it’s been confirmed by Suga-chan himself, who cheekily described their relationship as “Love & Getchu.”

The couple are the same age, but in terms of showbiz seniority, Yukirin is very much the senpai. She’s been active since her AKB days while Suga-chan only recently started picking up serious momentum in his career.
That said, sources in the industry reckon there’s a bit of a “gap couple” vibe going on—with Yukirin still pulling in the bigger bucks.

Even their recent date night showed a glimpse of that dynamic. According to one eyewitness who happened to be at the same izakaya:
“They were just casually chatting, Suga-chan sipping on his shochu soda while Yukirin had soba tea. They shared sashimi and small plates, and eventually got the tsukesoba as well. Yukirin was really attentive—dividing the dishes, wiping his hands with a napkin when he spilled something. You could tell she dotes on him. But at the same time, it looked like he was sort of the one leading the vibe of the date.”
The big moment? The bill.
“Suga-chan called the waiter over like he was going to pay, but then suddenly looked down and didn’t move. Without missing a beat, Yukirin pulled out her wallet and paid. It was kind of funny and sweet at the same time.”
After dinner, the couple left quietly, with Suga-chan popping into the smoking area for a rapid-fire e-cig break.

Eyewitnesses said he puffed away like he was dodging paparazzi, while Yukirin simply stood by, quietly watching him with a fond gaze.
From low-key nights out to old-school romance gestures, this couple seems to be doing things their own way—chill, supportive, and low on flash.
Whether or not they take the next step anytime soon, they definitely seem happy doing their own thing—one tsukesoba and vape cloud at a time.
