| CGM48’s Entire 1st Gen Bids Farewell in Emotional Graduation Announcement — Final Single Drops This August |
CGM48 has officially announced that all of its remaining 1st Generation members will graduate together. The huge reveal came during their RESET stage performance at The Theater Hall, C Floor of The Bazaar Hotel Bangkok today June 29, marking the end of an unforgettable chapter for the Chiang Mai-based sister group of BNK48.
A total of 17 first-gen idols are set to leave the group as part of this mass graduation, including Angel, Champoo, Fahsai, Jjae, Kaiwan, Kaning, Kyla, Latin, Marmink, Meen, Mei, Nena, Nenie, Pim, Ping, Punch, and Sita.

These members have been part of CGM48’s story since day one, growing with the fans and helping put the group on the map in Thailand’s idol scene.
But it’s not all tears — CGM48 also had a little gift up their sleeve. They revealed a special 1st Generation graduation single titled “Kaze wo Matsu”, which is set to drop this August.

The song is expected to be an emotional farewell track and a celebration of everything these 17 members have accomplished together.
No doubt the graduation will be bittersweet, but the legacy these girls leave behind will keep inspiring new generations of CGM48 fans and members to come. It truly feels like the end of an era, but also the beginning of a brand new chapter.
