The Bad Kids’ Rong Zishan Sparks Dating Rumours After Cosy Paparazzi Sighting (Weibo) |
Looks like our Zhu Chaoyang might be living his own slice of real-life drama — and no, we’re not talkin’ murder plots this time. Rong Zishan, the breakout star of The Bad Kids, has suddenly found himself at the centre of dating rumours after paparazzi snapped him gettin’ all cosy with a mystery girl on the streets.
Photos have been circling online showing the 19-year-old actor enjoying what looks like a casual date night. The pair were spotted strolling around, chatting and looking proper comfortable in each other’s company — with Zishan even wrapping an arm around her at one point.
His alleged date, who appears to have Eurasian features, has yet to be identified, but the chemistry between the two was enough to get the internet whisperin'.

This isn’t Zishan’s first rodeo with public curiosity either. Fans of the Chinese variety show Divas Hit the Road 6 might’ve clocked how the young actor smartly dodged any personal questions when the topic of dating came up.
But turns out, the lad might’ve just been keepin’ things under wraps. Quiet game strong, eh?
Born in 2006, Rong Zishan’s been in the biz since he was nine, first appearing in Jia Zhangke’s film Mountains May Depart. But it was his intense role as Zhu Chaoyang in the 2020 Light On drama The Bad Kids that turned him into a household name.
That show? Twisted, dark, and absolutely addictive — and Zishan smashed it. Since then, he’s kept a low profile and focused on his craft, even bagging spots at both the Central Academy of Drama and the Beijing Film Academy last year. Big brain and big talent, this one.
So far, there’s been no official word from Zishan or his team about the date — and knowing how private he tends to be, we’re not holdin’ our breath. But one thing’s for sure: netizens are already diggin’ deep trying to ID the girl and suss out whether this was just a friendly hangout or somethin’ more.
Whether it’s a new romance or just two mates hangin’ out, we’ll let the fans do their thing. But between elite acting gigs and uni entrance flexes, Rong Zishan’s got plenty on his plate — and apparently, a lil’ arm candy to go with it.
