"The Ex-Morning" BL Series: Preview and Where to Watch

Get ready to scream, cry, and probably throw something at your screen (with love, of course) – because GMMTV is bringing back one of our all-time fave ships, Kris Perawat and Singto Prachaya, in a totally fresh and emotionally messy new series called “The Ex-Morning”. And when we say messy, we mean it in the best way.

This isn’t just another fluffy rom-com. Nope. This time, the fan-favourite duo are taking a bold turn with characters that are raw, complex, and more relatable than ever.

We’re talking exes forced to work together, unresolved issues, and all the delicious tension that comes with it. Add a splash of workplace drama, a sprinkle of betrayal, and some coffee (literally thrown in someone’s face), and you’ve got a recipe for chaos. The good kind.

Here’s the gist:

Kris plays Pathapee, a top-tier news anchor with the nickname “The Weather Prince”. But his temper gets the best of him one day when he accidentally-on-purpose tosses hot coffee at a junior colleague during a heated argument. Yikes. Cue public outrage and a sudden career nosedive.

To calm things down, the station benches Pathapee. But just when it looks like his career’s totally derailed, his old mentor (Yong, played by Pai Pathit) offers him a second chance – with a catch: he has to co-produce a brand-new news programme... with his ex-boyfriend.

Enter Tamtawan, played by Singto, a cool, composed producer with an international degree and a history with Pathapee that’s way more complicated than anyone realises. Let’s just say sparks will fly – not the romantic kind (well... not at first).

The show dives deep into all the awkwardness and unresolved feels of working with an ex. Will they reignite the flame or finally learn to let go?

Can they earn back public trust and navigate their own tangled emotions? It’s an emotional rollercoaster that promises drama, laughs, and the kind of heart-squeezing moments we live for.

Backing up our main duo is a stellar cast of veterans and fresh faces including Jamie Juthapich, Earn Preeyaphat, Pai Pathit, Woo Thanaboon, Pod Supakorn, Gotji Tatchakorn, Ngek Kalaya, Kwan Khwanruedi, and special appearances from Ohm Thitiwat and Ployphat Patchathorn. Directing the chaos is the one and only Padung Samajarn, so you know it’s going to hit just right.

“The Ex-Morning” kicks off on Thursday 22nd May at 8:30 PM on GMM25, with replays available on Viu at 10:30 PM the same night.

So, are you ready to watch Kris and Singto break your heart, mend it, and then break it all over again? We’ll be watching, screaming, and overanalysing every look. See you there.
